Domestic Installation
Our clients Mr & Mrs Robertson from Edinburgh asked us to automate their existing wrought iron driveway gates with the addition of a Videx GSM Audio Intercom with added features such as proximity fob reader, a discreet push-to-exit button, call-to-exit and a built in key code lock.
While our wonderful clients supplied the bacon and egg rolls, our engineers installed a new Steel Wire Armoured power supply cable, rotary isolator and enclosures for a full FAAC E145 system which controlled FAAC 415 operators, fully loaded with SafeCoders and Limit Switches.
The high-end Videx 4K intercom was programmed to allow Trusted numbers from family and friends phones to be able to call the intercom and open the gates along with key fob entry, proximity fob entry, key code entry with a 4-digit number or as standard for a visitor to press the intercom button which called the house phone and diverts to mobile numbers if no answer.
As standard a pair of FAAC XP20B photocells were installed on the gate which prevents the gates from closing if an obstruction is detected.
All cables across the driveway were routed in conduit and laid under the cobbled driveway.
