Auto Entry were requested to provide gate automation and access control to two entrances at…
Videx Door Entry
For this project in Bonnyrigg near Edinburgh our customer was disabled and required a video intercom system to control her driveway gate, an electric strike lock on her front door, call a handset inside the property as well as calling her mobile phone and tablets.
To enable communication with the ‘outside world’ (mobile phones etc) we had to install an IP based system which works through the customers home internet broadband connection. With help from the National Manager for Videx we were able to provide this outstanding system with some additional benefits thrown in such as proximity fob sensors and push-to-exit buttons.
Our customer has several care workers who come and go so we provided ‘addressable’ proximity fobs which means that the fobs can easily and remotely be deleted and denied access, right from the Auto Entry offices.
